NERA Project
Project New Environment Revitalization Approach – NERA is funded by the European Union and, within the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro – Kosovo 2014-2020. Project commencement date have been 01 February 2023, while the Project duration is limited to 22 months. Project Coordinator is the Municipality of Tuzi, while the project Co-beneficiary is the Municipality of Peć/Pejë.
Public Utility Company (Tuzi) - "Komunalno"
"Komunalno/Komunale" was established with the purpose of performing works of public interest and represent one of the most important segments of the performance of municipal activities in the territory of the municipality of Tuzi.
The realization of the services of komunalno doo contributes to the preservation and protection of the living environment and generally to the creation of better living and working conditions in the area of the municipality of Tuzi.
Public Utility Company (Peja) - "Ambienti" SH.A.
"Ambienti" SH.A. - Peja, is a Public Company, with a work tradition of over 60 years, which as a joint-stock company has been operating since January 2008, specialized in the maintenance of cleanliness and public hygiene, including waste removal as its basic activity, in Peja region. The services of this Enterprise are essential for the quality of life of citizens and the preservation of the vital environment. Based on the Law on Public Enterprises, KRM "Ambienti" is owned by the municipalities according to the percentage of shares as defined by law and in the Company's Statute.
KRM "Ambienti" performs waste service in three municipalities of Kosovo, respectively in Pejë, Istog, and Klinë. The activities of KRM "Ambienti" include waste collection, and other waste management services, such as service activities of maintenance and care of squares (environment), other street cleaning activities, general cleaning of buildings, other activities services in support of businesses, general public administration activities and other activities.
